The capital of the Pine Barrens and the mailing address for most of Woodland Township. Remote work, planned properly, in one trip.
Chatsworth is the postal address for most of Woodland Township, a municipality of about fifteen hundred people spread across better than ninety square miles of Pinelands. County Routes 532 and 563 cross in the village itself. Brendan T. Byrne State Forest takes a large share of the township, cranberry and blueberry ground takes much of the rest, and there are only a few hundred housing units in the whole place.
Distance changes how we work out here. Material, container and crew come in once, the job runs start to finish, and we do not leave a roof open overnight waiting on a second trip. Pine debris gets cleared from valleys and gutters before we go. Permits are issued by the Woodland Township construction office under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code.

Pitch pine and oak drop needles and leaves on these roofs the whole year round, and whatever collects in a valley holds water against the shingle beneath it.
Material, crew and container on site together so the job runs through.
Needle pack cleared from valleys and gutters as part of the work.
Granules that slow the streaking constant shade encourages on these roofs.

Same office, same crews, a short drive away.
Yes. Our Cherry Hill office at (856) 519-0640 covers Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties, and Woodland Township is inside that territory. We plan these jobs as single-trip work so the distance does not turn into a week of half-finished roof.
Woodland Township. Chatsworth is the mailing address for most of the township rather than a municipality of its own, so the Woodland Township construction office reviews the application and inspects the finished roof under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. We file it and meet the inspector.
Somewhat less than the shingle rating suggests, because a roof that never fully dries ages from the surface and from underneath. Keeping valleys and gutters clear, trimming overhanging limbs and running balanced attic ventilation are what recover those years. Algae-resistant shingle helps with appearance more than with life.
Both, eventually. Moss holds water against the surface and its roots work under the shingle edges until they lift, which lets wind get a grip. Pressure washing it off takes granules with it, so the answer on an old roof is usually replacement and better clearance overhead.
