Evesham Township is the municipality. Marlton is what the mail says. Roof replacement for both names, from Evesboro out to Kings Grant.
Evesham Township runs from the Route 70 corridor down toward the Medford and Waterford lines, and most of what sits between was built development by development rather than all at once. Cropwell and Evesboro hold some of the oldest houses. Kings Grant and Barton Run went up through the 1970s and 1980s. Newer sections came later still. The address on your mail probably reads Marlton.
We handle full roof replacement across the township, matching the system to the age of the house: architectural asphalt on the subdivision stock, ice-and-water protection at the eaves, and proper intake and exhaust ventilation in attics that never had enough. Permits go through the Evesham Township construction office under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code.

Storm damage, active leaks and fallen trees, with 24/7 phone response.
A 1978 house and a 2004 house in the same township need different conversations, and the first question is always which layer you are standing on.
Older sections often carry two coverings, which changes tear-off, decking checks and cost.
Freeze-thaw cycles push meltwater back under shingles where underlayment stops short of the gutter.
Many 1970s and 1980s builds were vented for a milder climate than we actually get.
Roof replacement is permitted by the Evesham Township construction office, not by Burlington County.
Same office, same crews, a short drive away.

For mail and for everyday conversation, yes. Marlton is the postal name and a census place inside Evesham Township, which is the actual municipality. That matters for roofing because the permit, the inspection and the fee schedule all run through Evesham Township no matter what your envelope says.
That is ice damming. Warm attic air melts snow on the upper slope, the water refreezes at the cold eave, and the ridge of ice backs meltwater under the shingles. The fix is a combination of ice-and-water underlayment at the eaves and better attic ventilation, which we handle together during a replacement.
From the ground you usually cannot. We check at a rake edge or a vent penetration where the stack of material is visible, and the answer changes the job. Two layers mean more tear-off, more disposal and a decking inspection that could not happen the first time around.
Probably it is on its second covering already, and that one is now old enough to matter. We look at granule loss, the condition of the valley metal, and whether the pipe boots have cracked. If the field shingles still have life, a targeted repair is the honest recommendation.
