Indian Mills, Atsion and the sand roads between them. Shamong roofs sit on large wooded lots where nobody ever sees the back slope.
Shamong is a low-density township inside the state Pinelands Area, with Route 206 up the west side and County Routes 534 and 541 crossing it. Indian Mills is the center of what there is. Houses sit on acre-plus lots, set well back behind trees, and range from old frame farmhouses to custom builds from the 1980s through the 2000s. Rear slopes and back additions go unseen for years.
That is why an inspection here means walking the whole roof, not the street side. We photograph every plane, check the back-addition transitions, and price the work in one pass so a long driveway does not get billed twice. The construction permit is issued by the Shamong Township construction office under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code.
The full Maze Roofing range, residential and commercial, from the local team.
Shingle, tile, metal and flat roofing for homes and townhomes across the area.
Shingle, tile, metal, flat and TPO. Managed from tear-off to cleanup.
Flat, TPO and metal systems, with maintenance programs that protect the asset.
Storm damage, active leaks and fallen trees, with 24/7 phone response.
On a setback house nobody looks at the rear planes, so a lifted ridge cap or a failed pipe boot leaks into the attic long before it shows on a ceiling.
Every plane photographed, including the back roofs no one sees from the road.
Cracked rubber boots and rusted vent flanges replaced rather than caulked over.
Intersecting gables checked where 1990s framing created deep, slow-draining valleys.
The Shamong Township construction office issues the roof permit under the state code.
Same office, same crews, a short drive away.

You get it walked. We photograph every slope and send you the pictures with notes, including the rear planes and any additions. Attic inspection matters too, because staining on the sheathing shows where water has been getting in even when nothing has reached a ceiling yet.
From the Shamong Township construction office, under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. New Jersey permits are municipal, so the county is not involved. We file it under our New Jersey HIC registration, stay for the inspection, and hand you the closed permit at the end.
Not the shingle field. It is the details that came with a complicated roof: deep valleys where gables intersect, step flashing on the dormer and chimney sides, and the rubber pipe boots, which dry out and crack in fifteen to twenty years. Those are worth checking first.
Yes. Long driveways and gravel are normal out here. We stage the dumpster and material where they will not sink or tear up the surface, lay protection down, and magnet-sweep the drive and lawn at the end. The distance does not change the price.
