A big township with a small population: Beckett holds most of the housing, with older village clusters at Bridgeport, Repaupo and Center Square.
Logan Township is large but thinly settled. The Pureland Industrial Complex, the Commodore Barry Bridge approach and the county’s DREAM Park take up much of the map, while nearly all the housing is concentrated in Beckett, with older village clusters at Bridgeport, Repaupo and Center Square. The township grew sharply in the 1980s and has held roughly steady ever since.
So there are really two kinds of roof here: planned-community asphalt from the 1980s and 1990s, and older village stock with additions and outbuildings. Maze Roofing prices each on its own terms rather than by township average. Roof permits are filed with the Logan Township construction office under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code.

The planned-community roofs all went on inside a decade, while the village houses have been patched and added to for a century.
Roofs built to one spec in one decade reach the end of that spec together.
Older houses at Bridgeport and Repaupo leak where a later wing meets the original.
Low open ground near the Delaware leaves rake edges and ridges to the wind.

The Logan Township construction office, under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. That covers Beckett, Bridgeport, Repaupo and Center Square alike, since none of them are separate municipalities. Maze Roofing files the permit before the tear-off and schedules the township inspection once the new roof is complete.
It depends on how many additions the house has. Where the original plane is sound and the trouble is all at a junction with a later wing, a proper repair to the flashing is honest value. Where several sections are all at the end of their life, doing them together costs less than doing them separately.
It shifts the emphasis to the perimeter. With little to break the wind off the Delaware, the rake edge, the eave and the ridge take the load, so bonded starter, tight drip edge and well-fastened caps matter more here than the choice of field shingle does.
Granule loss in the gutters, shingles that no longer feel bonded when lifted, and the condition of the valley metal and sidewall flashing. Those tell you where the roof actually is in its life far better than the calendar does, and they are what an inspection is for.
