Local Roofing In Lely

Lely, not Lely Resort

Lely is the older community off US 41 East, around thirty-seven hundred residents with a median age of sixty-eight and roughly three in ten homes vacant outside season. It is a separate place from Lely Resort, which is larger and newer, and the two get confused constantly.
This is the more established of the pair. Mature housing, mature planting, and roofs that have generally been through at least one replacement already. The questions here are about deck condition and whether a repair is genuinely honest rather than about new construction detail.

Roofing In Lely

The older of the two Lelys

An established south Collier community with mature stock, high seasonal vacancy and roofs that are mostly on their second covering.

Storm damage in Lely?
24/7 emergency leak and tarp response.

Deck condition

On roofs this age the sheathing matters as much as the covering above it.

Seasonal vacancy

Three in ten homes empty much of the year. Leaks run a long time unseen.

Association stock

A good deal of attached housing where the board decides, not the owner.

Surge reach

Ian flooded much of Collier south and west of the Tamiami Trail.

Lely FAQ

Common questions

Is this the same as Lely Resort?

Is this the same as Lely Resort?

No, and the two get mixed up all the time. Lely is the older, smaller community; Lely Resort is larger, newer and separately identified. Different housing, different age, different work. We have a separate page for Lely Resort.

It depends on the deck rather than the age of the covering. If the sheathing is sound and the damage is localised a repair is the honest answer and we will quote it. We will also say plainly when a repair only postpones a bigger bill.

It is worth it. A problem found before you close up is a repair. Found on your return it is usually a repair plus ceilings and insulation. The inspection costs nothing.

Yes. An estimate costs you nothing and carries no obligation. If the roof has years left, we will say so.
