Naples Park is a compact grid of numbered streets between US 41 and Vanderbilt Beach Road, around five thousand people on just over a square mile. It is the most affordable housing within walking distance of this stretch of coast, which makes it a mix of long-term residents, seasonal owners and rentals. Roughly three in ten homes sit empty outside season.
The stock is mostly modest single-family from the fifties through the eighties, with a steady teardown-and-rebuild trade alongside it. Close enough to the water to take salt, far enough back to avoid the worst of the surge.
