Orangetree sits on Immokalee Road in east Collier, around fifty-nine hundred residents with a median age of forty-two and over seven in ten households married couples. That makes it one of the youngest and most family-oriented communities in the county, quite different from the retirement communities nearer the coast.
It is inland, so surge plays no part. What the roofs here deal with is wind, sun and the ordinary ageing of a stock that went up over a relatively short period.
