Local Roofing In Pine Island Center

The middle of the island, and its commercial hub

Pine Island Center sits where Pine Island Road meets Stringfellow Road, the crossroads of the island and the closest thing it has to a town centre. Around nineteen hundred people live here, a third of them over sixty-five, and about a quarter of the housing is seasonal.
It is the most practical place on the island, with the shops, the school and the community buildings. The roofing is a mix of older island stock, small commercial and newer post-Ian rebuild, all of it sitting on coral rock surrounded by salt water.

Much of what is up here went on during the recovery and is worth reviewing.

Pine Island Center FAQ

Common questions

Do you do commercial as well as residential here?

Do you do commercial as well as residential here?

Yes. There is a fair amount of small commercial around the crossroads and low-slope commercial roofing is a different system from a house roof. We quote it as its own job rather than pricing it like residential work.

No. The Little Pine Island Bridge was fully replaced and reopened in March 2026, wider and with better drainage and utilities than before. Access is normal again, though there is still no supply yard on the island, so we plan material orders carefully.

Yes. A huge amount of roofing went on across the island in a short window under difficult conditions. We check fastening, flashing and the permit record and tell you plainly whether it was done properly.

Yes. An estimate costs you nothing and carries no obligation. If the roof has years left, we will say so.
