Project Overview
A full residential tile roof replacement completed in Miramar, FL 33025. Engineered to handle Broward County’s intense heat waves, high humidity, and severe rainstorms, this project replaced an outdated roof assembly with a storm-rated tile system designed to provide decades of leak-free protection and elevated architectural style.
The Challenge

Where the roof started

The residence suffered from an aging tile assembly with a deteriorated secondary underlayment, leaving the home vulnerable to water intrusion during heavy tropical downpours.
The underlying waterproofing membrane had grown brittle, increasing the risk of structural deck rot
Meeting local high-wind uplift standards required extensive deck re-fastening and high-grade adhesive bonding
Precise measuring and custom flashing were necessary around roof-to-wall transitions to prevent leak pathways

Project FAQ

Questions about this project

Why choose a tile roof for a residence in Miramar, FL?

Tile roofs offer exceptional resistance against rot, UV radiation, and heavy rain while providing a classic Mediterranean look that lasts 40 to 50+ years.

Tile foam adhesive forms a flexible, continuous bond between the tile and the deck, distributing wind uplift forces far more effectively than standard mechanical nails.

While the concrete or clay tiles can last half a century, the secondary waterproof underlayment beneath them typically requires replacement every 20 to 30 years.
