FAQ

Common tile replacement questions

How long does a tile roof last?

The tile itself can last 40 to 50 years or more; the underlayment beneath it usually needs replacing sooner.

Sometimes. If tiles are in good shape we can re-lay them over new underlayment, which we’ll assess up front.

Tile is heavier than other systems, so we always confirm the structure can carry the load before installation.

Installed to Florida code with proper underlayment and fastening, tile performs very well in high winds.

Tile replacements typically take longer than shingle, your written estimate includes the timeline.

Manufacturer material warranties plus our workmanship warranty, all in writing.
